The shots below are Stanley's
glamour
shots. If Stanley the Quaker were a model, these would be his the "Cover Bird"
shots for his magazine cover.

"Cover Bird"
This pose has been used on many Quaker
Parrot related publications and web sites. If we can ever get the post
office to use a Quaker Parrot on a postage stamp, this will be the pose
:-)

Here is the "I'm happy and don't bother me" pose.
I'm a Quaker Parrot. |
This is the Stanley pose for the cover of
"Bird Seed Weekly."

Here is the "I can't believe I'm sitting on a
tree" pose. |

Quaker Parrots are very good at keeping their nails
clipped. Sometime you have to help a little but many Quaker Parrots
will do it themselves. |
 |
Time to clip those nails. I do have
perfect balance you know. |
 |
Stanley the Quaker Parrot is a pretty bird with big
dark round eyes. Some Quaker Parrots have oval eyes.
This picture was taken very close with a very large
lens. The face is very clear and the background is out of
focus. |

Here is Stanley's buddy, Max the Eastern Rosella. Max is a beautiful
bird.
