Lyn's Kiwi
		My name is Kiwi, my mom calls me Kiwi Peewee just for fun. She always calls me "Good Birdie" and when she does, I like to argue with her and tell her I’m a "Bad Bird" I really like to holler at her when she is busy. My favorite thing to holler is "Kiwi wanna get out, right now". When I do this she calls me a "Little Devil".
I can sing the Quaker song which is about me and I can also sing Jingle Bells and Yankee Doodle but, mom says Kiwi Peewee instead of Yankee Doodle – sometimes it’s fun to mix them all up together and sing really loud.		I came to live with Mom and Dad when I was only 1 month old. They must like me a lot ‘cause they play with me and are always giving me kissies when I ask for them. I’m almost 1 ½ years old now. There is a lazy dog, named Marco, that lives here but they don’t give him kisses, I guess it’s because he doesn’t know how to talk. Sometimes I get close to Marco and he has funny feathers. I learned how to say Peek a Boo when I was 2 months old and it was fun so I keep learning new words all the time.
Mom and Dad took me to a place called Minnesota to see all the human grandkids. She even packed a whole suitcase just for me. I guess this is where they want to take me to live someday. I liked it there! The kids are fun to play with. There were 6 of them. I love getting to go bye bye in the car cause I get lots of special attention, ‘specially when we stop to picnic. I get to take a bath and share lunch while all the people come and look at me. They must think I’m funny cause they always laugh.
| Guest Book  | Quaker Parrot Instinctual Behavior Return to Kiwi's Page		I had a huge cage with lots of toys in it and a playland that that Dad built for me out of pipe. I like my blankie the best! I take it to my pipehouse when it’s night time. Every night, mom lets me lay on her lap for a while and she rubs my head. She thinks it’s to make me quiet down, but I do it just because it feels good. Dad plays with me when he gets home from work and I love to turn somersaults for him on his lap. I also love to "poop" on him ‘cause it makes him sooooo mad.
