Rainbow and Itty-Bitty fly and pass each other in the air. Watching
Rainbow feed Joker is so sweet, until she has no more food and he is begging and she is
trying to feed him more. I don't allow her to feed him that often as I worry for her
health. It makes no difference in how Joker feels about her as he runs her off when she
runs dry. <g> Rainbow minds pretty good for not allowing me to touch her. She will
go to her cage when i say go home. She is pushy with Joker and Itty-Bitty. She will
sometimes fly on me even when I don't have Joker. I guess in a way she is friendlier than
Itty-Bitty as I-B doesn't care for too much up close and personal time. I-B will always
give me kisses and perch on my finger anytime I ask her to, but she gets off fast. She is
more a solitary bird who would rather play and argue with herself. It takes all kinds and
I guess i have 3 different kinds. Joker is the loveinist, and Rainbow wants to get close
but still scared of hands and I-B drags up at the end. I-B has gotten loose for a fly
around and over the building twice and never landed before she was right back here. I
almost had a heart attack both times. I keep a VERY close eye on her
now.

EDITOR'S UPDATE
On October 8th 2002 Peggy Crews, owner of Joker Itty-Bitty and
Rainbow, died from the lung cancer she had been fighting for several
years. Joker's web site will remain as a memorial to Peg, a friend
who lived close to us here in Fort Lauderdale until a year before
she passed away. Rainbow escaped back into the wild in 2001 and
Itty-Bitty died earlier in 2002 of undetermined causes. Joker
is living with Peg's relatives in Ohio who can contact me with
Joker's update.
