CommentDear Fonze, Jake & I have enjoyed your photos. Looks like you have lots of room to play around in. Since I spend lots of time at my computer each day, Jakes cage is right next to it. Also alows me to close the door when my husband is working nights and sleeping days, so our raucous fun doesn't wake him up. I won Jake at a Bird Fair in Corups Christi a year ago, and he is my only bird. We share the house with 3 BIG dogs and 14 outside cats (we have to be very careful of them. They can sneak inside. CommentHey Fonze! I read about you in bird talk and just had to come see your sight for myself. I also started out with two parakeets who passed away within 20 minuets of eachother while I was at school. We're still not sure why, they were fine in the morning. They will always be my favorite birds. I now have a Cockatiel and a Grey, along with my quaker. Chrissy just loves to boss the other two around! She has the Grey afraid of her now! Other than me, her best friend is a blue crowned conure that visits every once and a while. My little quaker is the sweetest little thing. No matter what she does, it is impossible to ever get mad at her for very long. Maybe you could get her to talk instead of squawlk for everything. She's not that noisy, it's the grey mimiking her that becomes a pain. If I can figure out how i'll send you a picture of her. Ta ta for now!

My mums daddy just died a couple of Fridays ago, so I haven't gotten to come out of my cage that often. Do you go on any trips with your mum? It is very fun, so that makes up for all the time I've been in my cage for a long time. I came from an abused family, but my mums dad came to the rescue and brought me home to my mums loving family. After I have biten my mum, I will loudly say in a human voice"HELLO," and reach out for a kiss. My mum can't stay mad at me for a long time, for these things are very special to her. I am really excited and cannot wait until the day when one becomes available. Until then, I just stare at the pics in the book and internet. Am envious of you because you have a quaker. CommentYo Fonze. Quak says hello. He is an eight month old quaker who has been sharing our residence for about five months now. He is both affectionate and talkative (his vocabulary grows daily). He wants to share every aspect of our routine, so at dinner we have a little plate we set for him. Maybe in the future he'll have a website as well.

CommentHi, I am thinking about buying a quaker. The Pet Store has one for sell that is 7 weeks old but has a runny nose. She said it was not sick and ate good but its nose has run from day one. Should I consider this bird or wait until next spring when there are more babies? I have 2 sun conures but will keep these from the quaker since I am sure they will be jealous of each other. CommentIsaac is about three years old. We were told she was a boy, hence the name, but were quite surprised to find her sitting on a nest of eggs one day. Isaac's vocab. is not as extensive as Fonze, but she speaks very clearly and her favorite thing to say is "O.K., Baby!" She writes her own symphonies, rides on the handle bars of my bike and her favorite toy is a toilet paper roll.

He is just starting to go beyond the "feed me! feed me!" noises. I was thrilled the other day when I first heard the soft little "meep meep" noise the pet shop Quakers make. I have also added a working news hot information line to the top of many of the pages. Now viewers will be able to see some of the news going within the quaker community.
