Bogey
The Colonel's Bird

We fell in love with Bogey at the Fort Worth Bird Mart, October 17, 1998.  Becky Cummings,( Out On A Limb Aviary,)
had Bogey and his  twin sister for sale.  He was 8 weeks old and what a cuddly little blue baby bird.  He was purchased for me later as a surprise.  The surprise really  was that Bogey bonded to Dana instead of me.  The Colonel was picked by Bogey.  Bogey tells me he loves me ONLY when I am in the kitchen preparing food.  Then he is a charmer.  He is a better talker than Nub, which is saying a lot.  He sings and dances, and goes crazy when the Colonel is around.

Bogey loves his Happy Hut, and started sleeping in it from the start.  He puts himself to bed as soon as it starts getting dark.  During storms he hides in there, and drags his toys in with him.

Our quaker family is now numbered at
3, since we got Toby in March, 1999.   Having Quakers is contagious.  But what a wonderful thing to catch.
