Hi I'm Tia and I live in Midland, Ontario, Canada (about an hour and a
half north of Toronto, on the shore of Georgian Bay). I live with my
boyfriend Carlos a Jenday Conure, Chloe and Murdock, two cats who really
respect us, and Mom and Dad, Mara and Norman Burton. Carlos and I were
hatched in July 2002 and were taken home in October 2002. Mom did a lot
of research before bringing us home and visited with us every day for
three weeks while making her decision and buying a cage. I hope
you enjoy my web site and photo album. This is just the beginning so
check back every once in a while.

Mom and Dad asked Carlos and me to help prune the crab apple trees. Mom
and Dad keep our wings trimmed so that we can't get altitude, but we can
land softly.

Mom tries to give us fresh foods every day. We love corn, potatoes,
grapes, pear, green pepper, carrots and broccoli among other things. We
especially like cranberry juice which we dip our pellets in. We also
get a little bit of assorted seed each day, some papaya and half an Avi
Cake. I cheep with joy when I get an Avi Cake.

We get a bath and spray as often as Mom can give it to us. This is us
after a bath."

Carlos and I love both Mom and Dad equally. We love to sit on Dad and
eat pumpkin seeds.

Mom recently put a full spectrum light in our room and wow what a
difference. I really noticed how different everything looked right
away. Just like outside. I know that the light will help me process
calcium for when I produce eggs. I haven't yet because I am too young.
Speaking of which, Carlos sometimes does this dance around me, I have no
idea what he is doing, but Mom thinks he is displaying for me. He loves
me so much that he feeds me daily. It's great.
